According to Article 14 of Energy Administration Act, this project is to set up an energy efficiency management mechanism to promote the policies of mandatory Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and energy efficiency grading labelling as well as continually enhancing the standards of energy conservation labelling. It encourages manufacturers to produce high energy efficiency products and provides guidance to consumers for a preferable purchase.
